EuropeSpa is an international seal of quality awarded to health resorts and spas in Europe. It comes in two types:

• EuropeSpa med for health resorts offering medical treatment and prevention programmes
• EuropeSpa wellness for wellness hotels, hotel spas, thermal spas and day spas

EuropeSpa is the seal of quality of the European Spas Association. It's based on a certification system developed from more than 30 national and international laws and standards with the assistance of a scientific committee and experts from the medical and wellness sector.

Certification concentrates on areas which are internationally comparable in Europe: service, safety, hygiene and infrastructure. The neutral, objective certification of spas and resorts is ensured by a challenging inspection conducted by independent auditors and a certification system developed in accordance with international rules. 

As the same questions are asked in each country, for the first time a certification system is now available which ensures transparency and quality throughout Europe.
