The international seals of quality EuropeSpa med and EuropeSpa wellness are a joint initiative by the Brussels-based European Spas Association and STORCH Water Consulting International in Wiesbaden.

The company EuropeSpa med & wellness GmbH is in charge of running the certification system. Its responsibilities include:

The continuous updating of the quality criteria by a Committee of Experts
Quality assurance of the testing and certification system.

The publication of certified providers on the international quality platform www.EuropeSpa.eu.

Auditing based on the EuropeSpa is conducted by STORCH Water Consulting International.

Some of the services offered by EuropeSpa-certified providers are marketed by German tour operator Fit-Reisen GmbH – one of the biggest tour operators specialising in spas and health resorts.

The EuropeSpa med criteria are published by Schweizerbart Verlag in Stuttgart.
